Manager, Strategic Sourcing
Responsible for supporting global supply chain initiatives and ensuring effective supplier management.

- Develop Stryker Orthopaedics Global Commodity strategy.
- Develop and prepare Supply Agreements and coordinate with all Stryker Orthopaedics sites worldwide to administrate those contracts.
- Coordinate negotiations with multi-site suppliers.
- Ensure global suppliers meet project requirements related to budget price, product technology, capability, capacity, logistics and Quality Assurance.
- Organize and lead global "Sourcing Teams" in the specific sourcing category.
- Introduce e-Procurement, e-Sourcing, e-Auctions and other innovative techniques to GSC worldwide.
- Serves as signatory authority for Global Sourcing & Planning responsibilities on all specifications, checklists, procedures, and instructions.

- 7-10+ years of experience in Supplier Management.
- Must have strong negotiation skills, a working knowledge of Purchasing "best practices" and product manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Some domestic and international travel will be required.
- Must have strong leadership skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong PC skills.
